As discussed in the Polyoptic wheel section, Bigshot captures 3D photos by taking two pictures of the scene from slightly shifted positions. The software then creates the 3D photo by combining the red color values of each pixel in one photo with the blue and green values of the corresponding pixels in the other photo. It happens that there will be a small shift (called disparity) in the alignment of objects from the two photos. This misalingment changes with the distance at which the objects were from the camera while taking the picture. When such an image is viewed through stereo-glasses, then the objects in the photo pop out giving a 3D appearance.

Sometimes it may be desirable to slightly change the disparity by shifting the first image over the other for a more pleasurable viewing. The Bigshot wizard allows one to do this.

Set Disparity with Bigshot Wizard

- Slider to control the horizontal disparity.
- Set the disparity to the intial value.
- Set the disparity to the default value.

Press the up arrow to go the previous step – Appearance.

|
Press the down arrow to go the next step – Sharpening.
